My Backup Jobs keep ending with exceptions, Says my evaluation period has expired. I look into the BACKUPEXEC folder on the netware box.. see a file called license and see my number in
their. I have bestop, then renamed the folder.. went to 11d pushed the agent.. asks for the key at that point .. it takes the key but then pops a window about "backup exec evaluation edition has many options ect.." so right their i feel like something is wrong.. i push the agent.. it starts.. and the same result occurs..
any help would be appreciated..

Thanks for those.. however backing up Windows 2003 server is not a problem.. its the netware.. the netware is weird.. you don't add the serial number via the tools serial numbers and installtion.. you add it by going to "install agents on other servers" then when you right click the netware and hit add server it prompts you for a Key at that point.. it takes the key.. and installs.. The next thing to do is purchase and upgrade to 12 with suppor and let india.. i mean symantec figure it out.. just wish i didn't have to do that..
thanks again

Perhaps your license file on the NetWare box is corrupted. Do you have that license in another place you could do a BESTOP, confirm that all of Backup Exec is stop/no longer running on the NetWare server, delete the license file that is in place and then put a new copy in place and then do a BESTART?
