Everytime I bring up my email i get tThere is a problem with this website's security certificate.

You need to continue to the website, then click the gold lock next to the address bar and view certificate details. When you look at the certificate on the General tab, you should see the name of the site that the cert was issued to - use this name format when accessing the site.
If this is your email server, then you might consider getting a multi-domain (a.k.a. SAN or UC) certificate - godaddy has them for very cheap. With this you can add multiple site names, including hostnames and different domains if necessary (as long as your company has rights to the domain name). You will typically need one of these if you are using exchange 2007. Note that wildcard (*.example.com) certs do not work quite right for this type of scenario, however usually are fine with older versions of exchange and most other email server products.
