  • The Feedback of the Community

Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Trying to format hard drive and reinstall XP

I am trying to format a harddrive of a toshiba laptop and reinstall XP for a new user and when I boot from the XP CD I get the error message, "INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 8192. Setup cannot continue."
