The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Help with imaging many new PCs and Laptops with different hardware

Asked by Arrietty in Windows XP Operating System

Tags: how, know

I'm really stuck here so can someone  give me help me with a step by step solultion?.  It's a big ask - probably not a difficult for an expert to do but for a beginner I just don't know how to start this process.  I have no images for multiple brands of hardware. I guess I have to install WXP on each type of hardware and add add the  apps then run sysprep and then make a ghost image of this.  But the sysprep part is a confusing and I certainly can't do an unattended file.....that is totally beyond me.

I've tried for 2 days tomake a BartPe bootup but can't work out how to add the newtwork drivers and the plugins - I have an old Bart disk I used in 2003 but the latest drivers are not on it anymore.  So I downloaded the builder and followed the steps but don't understand exactly where to put the drivers and in what form?  Do youput the .cab files in the drivers folder or do you uncompress them and put them in their own folders?  The plug in for ghost - I have the ghost files but when I go to add it says it can't find them -

I've read all the threads but there re so many points of view, I think I just need one expert to step me through this process.  Lots of techies do it in their workplace so I should be able to do it.  Unfortunately I'm all alone at work and don't have anyone to ask so I'm hoping someone here can step me through the process and make sure I'm on the right track.
