Avirt Mail 4.2 "connection refused from ... on port 25 ... port 110" Help!!!

We have a server running Win 2000 and using Avirt Mail V4.2. Everything has worked fine for years until last week. New mail messages started to be replicated around a hundred times. Then the mail server started rerfusing connections from the workstation computers.

The message that appears on avirt mail is "connection refused from 192.168" etc
Connections are denied from all ip addresses on the network on ports 25 and 110.
None of the user or mailbox passwords have been changed to my knowledge.

I have tested the actucal mail server (on wanadoo) using webmail, and I can confirm that there are no problems here. The avirt mail is also successfully taking the messages off the wanadoo server and placing them in the postoffice file. But it refuses to then push the email through to the correct mailboxes.

Advice and fixes would be very much appreciated! We haven't had any mail for 3 days. Start Free Trial
