I'm looking for a daemon/service under Linux which can download a POP3 account's content and inject the messages either into an MTA (which I'll configure to re-route the messages) or directly into an IMAP4 account.
Should they be relevant the set up is an Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon install running Postfix & Courier IMAP. At the moment, I have a Thunderbird installed & downloading the POP3 e-mails with a message filter to move all messages into the IMAP4 account (which I then can pick up from whereever) but it's annoying requiring Thunderbird to remain running on the machine when I'm away from it. In the end, there's multiple POP3 accounts I want to merge in this way, so whatever the suggestion is, it'll need to be capable of more than one...
