What error message do you get?

Are the ports open?

you should get responses (when I say responses, a blank window with a flashing cursor is fine, just anything other than connect failed!) when you open command prompt and run these commands:

telnet pop.mail.yahoo.com 995
telnet smtp.mail.yahoo.com 465

If you do not get responses, you have a firewall or connectivity issue.
