Outlook will not delete POP mail

Hi,
We run outlook 2007 and set it to leave the email on the server for 10 days.
the server is "mail enable" and is running pop.
the reason for this is we use PDAs as well well as the outlook client to pull email.
the issue is the outlook doesn't delete the email after 10 days, and because of this our email box on the server gets full (quota).

What can I do to fix this issue?
