The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Email delivery failure messages being received in large quantities for mail never sent.

Tags: SMTP, Ms Exchange, SMTP, A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its
One of my users is receiveing a lot of undelivered mail messages from mail she has never sent. See samples below.

The messages I am sure do not originate from her pc or our network as there aren't any records in the logs on our exchange server of the destinatioon address ever existing and smtp is blocked outbound for anything apart from the exchange box.

The messages are clearly originally spam.

Can anyone explain what is happening.

Sample 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its
recipients after more than 24 hours on the queue on amx.mailix.net.

The message identifier is:     1JlrHJ-0004QN-5F
The subject of the message is: Hillari Clinton stood up for daughter
The date of the message is:    Tue, 15 Apr 2008 18:09:47 +0000
The subject of the message is: Hillari Clinton stood up for daughter

The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:

  nospam@nospam.com
    (generated from instituted@arborguitar.org)

No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for
some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message
remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up,
and when that happens, the message will be returned to you.

Sample 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

 Subject:      ???????!
Sent:      16/04/2008 20:09

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

  dzhook@renins.com on 16/04/2008 21:56
The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to.  Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.
