I have one domain that we are now unable to send email to. (We are using Exchange 2003 SP2 FE/BE, no SmartHost)
Below is what the SMTP log is telling me is wrong. I cannot find any information on the 452 4.1.1 error.
rcpt to: user@problemdomain.com
452 4.1.1 <user@problemdomain> requested action aborted: try again later - GL/GL
The below is what is being sent by Exchange as the Undeliverable.
user@problemdomain.com on 9/25/2007 11:03 AM
The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.
<server.ex1.lan #4.1.1 smtp;452 4.1.1 <user@problemdomain.com> requested action aborted: try again later - GL/GL>
The users are valid, we have been dealing with them for years. We are also able to send them email through a Yahoo account. The IT tech at the other company seems to think it is a DNS issue on our side, but I can't find any evidence of that.
Any assistance in determining what the issue is would be appreciated.
