Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI'm having difficulty setting up my email for cox.net isp. I guess with spam they require that the outgoing mail serer settings be cox.west.cox.net. What I get now is my incoming mail from mail.mysitedomain.com but how do I send out or reply to email I get from mail.mysitedomain.com if I have to use cox's outgoing mail server settings (as of now I get an error that says can't find server.
The settings they gave me is :
"Incoming Mail Server" Settings and type : mail.mysitedomain.com
"Outgoing Mail Server" Settings and type : cox.west.cox.net
Thanks,
B

Hello brihol44,
Did you get the SMTP server name correctly. Typical COX SMTP server name should be smtp.west.cox.net
Hope this helps!
