Move SMTP email address from one user to another - solution found?

Asked by wouteravi in Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Exchange Email Server, Email Servers

Hi, the following question was asked once in the forum:
***
Greetings, I have an info smtp email address setup for one of my users "info@domain.com". I have to transfer the address to a new user. I have already removed the smtp entry from user1 and added it to user2 but email sent to "info@domain.com" is still going to user1. What do I have to do to make the change take effect?

I am experiencing the same problem..
Has anyone found a solution for this problem, other than to 'use distribution lists instead'?

best,
Avi
