Problem with exchange server queue

Asked by steduf in Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Exchange Email Server, Message Queue

Tags: Microsoft, Exchange Server, 2003

Only since this morning, when I go into 'Exchange System Manager' and look at the outgoing mail queues, I'm finding that a between 5 and 10 emails are sitting there. When I 'force connection' and 'unfreeze' them - the emails that have a red mail symbol with a 'red stop' icon on it stay there - but the others get sent and disappear.

However one of the mails that was sent in particular is worrying me - one sent from our 'postmaster@ourdomain.com' to "SMTP:operations@specialoffers.carhire3000.com;"

Anything I can do to stop this, or anyone explain why the messages are sitting there?Start Free Trial
