Unable to receive email notification alert (internal users) from sendmail but external users can receive the notification

Zones: Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Exchange Email Server, Domain Name Service (DNS)

Ok, so someone configured sendmail from another server that is hosted in our co-location facility and it's supposed to shoot out notification email to all users (internally and externally). External users can receive the notification however for internal users, senders are getting bounce back below

Warning: message still undelivered after 4 hours Will keep trying until message is 5 days old

My mailhost reverse DNS is setup properly and checks out. Is this the problem from the send mail configuration?

Please help, urgent!
