Tracing threatening e mails

Asked by hairybeast in Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Email Anti-Virus, OE-WindowsLive

Our company has been receiving some threatening e mails. The sender uses a Hushmail account. Is there any way to trace back the IP all the way to MAC ID? We believe the sender is using a public access point to connect and send mail. Is there any way to find this party?
