all emails on this sbs server can email internal and external, but 1 will only not be able to send to 1 other single user, I have uninstalled exchange, reinstalled. What I am seeing is in the address book under the recipients name, how it lists the name then email address and then you will normally see SMTP in the last column, well in this ones that can not of course recieve the mail, it is showing what looks to be the x 400 director with a bunch of charatcers, no other computer shows this all others can email this 1 with no problem..I have no hair left to pull out..this might be simple, but I have surpassed the simple thought process, and I have tried to do many different fixes..help please
well I haven't tried OWA as the person who can't email internally can email everywhere else, what would using OWA help to identify if I may ask, I am unfamiliar with this aspect of troubleshooting by using OWA
It will rule out problems caused by outlook itself, for example if the offline address book was out of date, or not syncing. Which it sounds like might be your problem.
and for the moment they are closed so i do not have access to trying the OWA until tomorrow, it just baffles me how this one person who was emailing just fine until a cpouple weeks ago, and nothing really changed in their system, now just 1 internal email will not send to 1 other..just baffled'
