VBA script that will check FTP folder

Zones: VB Script, File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
I'm trying to write a script in VBA that will log on to a certain ftp share and list the file names of all the files in that folder, then close the connection to the ftp site.

Are you sure you need a VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) script and not a VBScript or even a batch file?  

The following batch file, after editing to fit your environmental circumstances, should work.

I'm realizing it's tougher than i thought with vba... so perhaps vbscript will work

VBA's purpose is to be used inside another app such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. to provide various automations.  VBScript is very similar but can be used in a standalone manner.  

The batch file I provided can be wrapped inside VBScript if you like, but it will still perform the same task... unless you need some custom pre- or post-processing.

Let me know if you need something different.
