Http 404 error with IE7

I connect to internet via proxy through another computer in my home. The computer that connects to internet directly has a proxy software named "Proxy". Whenever I installs IE7 on my computer and connects to internet ,most of the time it shows http 404 error.
Except this recently I have installed windows vista home premium on my computer, and vista already have IE7 . and now i am getting the same error. does IE7 does not support proxy? and is there any other method to connect to internet through another computer. what is the solution? Start Free Trial
