RunDLL error message on bootup

I am running Vista and every time I load Windows i get the following error box stating
"RunDLL. Error loading C:\Windows\system32\hggDspPh.dll, The specified module could not be found"

It's very likely just a remnant of a bad file that is no longer there but the loading point is still present.

If you can delete the startup registry entry then the error should stopped. In msconfig startup tab you can uncheck that entry.
Or if you have Hijackthis, scan the system and fix the relevant 04 entry or could be other lines in Hijackthis. You can show us the logfile if you like.

Registry scanners or antispyware scanners also removes a redundant loading point reg entry (usually)

Or use Hijackthis.

Open Hijackthis, click "Do a system scan and save a logfile" don't fix anything yet.
Paste the log in the "Code Snippet" or "Attach File" window.

Googled the DLL and got no hits.  Makes me suspect malware.  You could do as rpggamergirl suggested.  I would try running Malwarebytes first just because it is easy and a good anti-Malware tool to have on your system anyway.  Available here http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

Thank you for your advice

I checked in msconfig and found the program relating to the DLL error message and it was pointing to msserver software so I deselected it and it worked perfectly.
