An error occurred while testing the NSPI Interface
I am configuring RPC / HTTPS for Outlook Anywhere.
I am continuously getting stuck on THIS POINT:
Testing NSPI Interface on Exchange Mailbox Server
An error occurred while testing the NSPI Interface.
Test Steps
Attempting to ping RPC Endpoint 6004 (NSPI Proxy Interface) on server nicolosiad01.nicolosifoods .local
Failed to ping Endpoint
How do you resolve this? It's extremely aggravating. I cannot seem to fix it.
Server 2003, Exchange 2003. One server.
Any help would be appreciated.

No problems - registry changes won't kick in until you reboot the server! So simple, but so easily overlooked ;-)

You were correct! Reboot fixed! How come some "other" registry changes work immediately, but not this one in particular!?
Again, Thanks!
Again, Thanks!
Depends on the service and if it can be restarted.
Sometimes it just needs a plain old reboot to make sure, even though stopping and starting a service would probably suffice. Anyway, glad you are sorted and thanks for the points.
