My DC is a Windows 2003 SBS.
I'm getting an error in the system log that states the following:
"The DHCP service has detected that it is running on a DC and has no credentials configured for use with Dynamic DNS registrations initiated by the DHCP service. This is not a recommended security configuration. Credentials for Dynamic DNS registrations may be configured using the command line "netsh dhcp server set dnscredentials" or via the DHCP ADministrative tool."
I know where to go set these credentials. Should I use the administrator credentials or should I set up some other set of credentials to use this? Why would I get this event all of a sudden. This DC has been up for about 2 years and this is the first time I'm seeing it. I did have an array degredation that was recently rebuilt. Is it possible that info was corrupted and needs to be re-entered?
