two 2003 DCHP server in same physical subnet

Asked by yeko in Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Miscellaneous Networking, Windows 2003 Server

I fresh installed second 2003 DHCP server in the same physical subet.
Now, two 2003 DHCP servers are releasing different scope ip but in the same physical subet.
The problem is that both servers had lease  record for same client, this will not happen when using windows 2000 server for the seond DHCP server. As same client occupied 2 ip, from each DHCP server,
ip is not enough. How can i fix this issue? Thanks a lot!Start Free Trial
