DSL configuration problem

Asked by rettif9 in Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Network Routers, DSL Lines / Cable Internet

I'm trying to connect a D-Link DIR 330 router to a Westtell 6100 modem (model C99-610014-03) The DSL provider is Century Tel. The modem has a static public IP and is set to operate in bridge mode. Should the WAN side of the router be assigned the same static IP as the modem or should it be set to use DHCP? I need remote access to the D-Link Router if possible.Start Free Trial
