Computers pulling IP addresses from invalid DHCP server litwareinc.com

Asked by chrishaislip in Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), TCP/IP

For the past couple of days, when a computer on my network is restarted, the system pulls an IP address from a DHCP server that I have never heard of.  The IP address is invalid and does not give any access to the internet.  The only way I have found to correct the problem on a machine-by-machine basis is to do an ipconfig /release and then an ipconfig /renew sometimes several times before the system pulls a valid IP address from MY DHCP server.  The IP range that seems to be distributed is 10.0.0.x.  Does anyone have any suggestions?Start Free Trial
