New Scope of I.P. addresses: Should I configure now or later?
I need to add a new scope of i.p. addresses.
As part of my long-term plan, I want to ultimately configure this so that different ranges of addresses go to different places. For example, one range of addresses will be on the main network and can access network resources. One range will be off the network but still get internet (guests) and will still pass through our firewall. A third range will be off the network but get every dirty little thing the world wide web has to offer (this is for our public library patrons—freedom of information and all that.)
Problem is I’m not sure how to do the configuration of the different ranges. Also, I think I need a few other things in place first, like for instance a few more switches, a new firewall and content filter, and also I am thinking of setting up a DMZ. In addition, the question of whether or not I need another domain name comes up.

I want to do the stuff I just described. I also need more i.p. addresses. If I add the scope now, does it make the stuff more difficult to do? Or is it simpler to configure the different ranges at the time I add the new scope?
