I have two sites in Active Diretory Sites and Services
Site A, ServerA with subnet 192.0.0.0/16
Site B, ServerB with subnet 192.6.0.0/16
Currently ServerB is a DHCP server for site B issueing IPs 192.6.0.1-200
Site A has a sonicwall that has a DHCP turned on, on the LAN interface 192.0.0.11-30
Site A and B are connected via a Point to Point VPN (Soincwall TZ170 to Cisco ASA5510)
I want to turn off Site A sonic as a DHCP server and add DHCP services to ServerA. However, I am worried that PCs in SiteB may by some change pickup an IP Address from ServerA which would cause them issues on the SiteB network, or vise versa.
Running Windows 2003 Servers in both Sites.
If I create a Scope on ServerA for range 192.0.100-200 will only the PCs in SiteA go to this server or will I start to have issues with PCs crossing the VPN and sites?
