Vista internet drops out, XP working fine

Tags: Cannot Communicate with primary DNS Server

Vista Business is connected to a LAN.

We have a modem/router, 10 computers networked but only vista's internet drops out, does not disconnect from the LAN.

Solutions I have tried:

-> Setting the DNS server for the LAN card to our router
-> Setting the DNS Server for the LAN card to Internet Service Providers DNS
-> Reset the network card
-> Re-installed the driver
-> Connect the Lan card directly to the switch/router
-> Added a registry key for the DNS broadcast

Nothing has solved this issue.....
