DNS Issue

have a pc and a laptop, wireless adsl router.
after replacing my router (mega 105wr from telsum) i couldnt get the net to work on my pc with the account on the router, a pppoe dialup did work tho and even after disconnecting the sites i had browsed while on it worked thru the router. it worked with manually assigning dns on lan connection.

laptop works fine! dialup and router.

now i found earlier that certain sites dont work even thru dialup or lan on pc but do on laptop.
It all indicates a dns issue but what? dns service in xp?
