How do I get internal DNS resolution to match what a user puts in from the outside?

Asked by t1177rm in Domain Name Service (DNS), Microsoft IIS Web Server, Windows 2003 Server

I have web sites hosted on an internal web server (on IIS 6).  I have my Active Directory DNS set up so that internal users put in "mail" to get to the internal Exchange OWA but from the internet they put in "mail.mydomainname.com" to reach OWA.  I want to make it so that all the internal users can put in the exact same address no matter if they are internal or coming from the internet.  How do I set up DNS on Active Directory to do this?  I'm using Windows Server 2k3 R2.Start Free Trial
