By private registration, do you mean you want domain privacy enabled? But if domain privacy is enabled, why do you need the private registration to show a UK address when it won't show any address at all?

There really isn't any problem here except you need to find a domain registrar that offers domain privacy. I'm not sure if all do, or some do, or only a few do.

But what I can tell you is that I know Netfirms is a domain registrar that offers domain privacy. It will not display any information of the registrar when a domain whois is performed on the domain.

You would need to find a registrar that uses a private registration company in the UK.  We use Domains By Proxy  for our customers to use private registrations but it will display Domains By Proxy address and contact info which in this case is in the U.S.  You need to find a registrar that does private registrations in the UK so it will use that companies address information.
