I apparently wasn't paying close attention and clicked on download a video of some type when I was doing a google search - I thought I closed the application before it started. However, I now get an annoying pop up message appear everytime i open IE, or even search for something in I.E.
Also appears when opening other windows and is highly annoying. When ever i do a google search it includes one porn related reuslt
The Message itself says :
System Error!
Your system is infected with a dangerous virus!
Note: Strongly recommend to install antispyware program and avoid a total crash of your computer
Click ok to download antispyware(recommended)
Followed by OK CANCEL buttons.
Of course i immediately click the red cross to kill the pop up
At the time, my virus software of out of date - have updated this and also installed Spyware doctor - scans with both have not taken care of the problem.
I read a very similar question posted here but was not really able to follow it.
