Format USB Flash Disk

Asked by sagarh in Miscellaneous Hardware, Peripherals

Tags: format, usb, flash, disk

I have a usb flash disk (pen drive) that will not format it is 1GB in size yet Windows XP reports it as 128GB in size - XP fails to format it and when I try to format via the command line :- format f:  /fs:fat32  I also get an error that the disk is too large for a fat32 volume...

Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue - it is currently reporting the drive as being RAW format via the command prompt
