Can't install HP Officejet 6310 printer driver. Everything else (scanner, etc) installs.

Error message: "Cannot install this hardware. There was a problem installing this hardware. HP Officejet 6300 series. An error occurred during the installation of this device. Cannot complete this function."  <end of error>   Device mananager shows Officejet 6300 series (DOT4print) and Officejet 6300 series (DOT4prt)  under IEEE 1284.4 compatible printers, as well as Officejet 6300 series (DOT4) under IEEE 1284.4 devices, plus Officejet 6300 series (DOT4USB) under Universal Serial Bus Controllers. There are no question marks or exclaimation marks by any device. This is the second USB printer that would not install. The first printer was also HP but not an multi-function device. Worked with HP support on that one and they concluded that the printer itself was bad, so we went to the store and bought another. Start Free Trial
