XP "No Audio Device" & Realtek HD Audio conflict

Asked by BJM12345 in General Multi-Media Software, Computer Motherboards, Computer Sound Cards

Tags: No Audio Device

I'm using a Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H motherboard with an inbuilt audio & video. Despite downloading the latest BIOS & Realtek HD audio updates my Device Manager still shows "no audio device" in the Device Manager. Only after Realtek HD is deleted from the PC does the "audio device" appear correctly, but even then I still can't hear any music or sounds over the speakers and Itunes cannot recognize the audio device. Any suggestions to get my audio up and running? Start Free Trial
