You have a couple of different options here.
If security isn't an issue then you can simply modify the share and security permissions on the "black box" to allow "ANONYMOUS" "Read" and "Read & Execute" permissions.
If security is an issue then you have to create a local account on the "black box", modify the permissions on the file share to include that new user, and map a network drive to the file share using the alternate logon account option to specify the account you just created.

Strange. Sorry about the previos post. I saved a reply and it told me the question was deleted. Anyway ... are you using "black box" as a generic term form something else? Is it a NAS? Snapserver? Can you be a little more specfic as to what we are dealing with here?
