FTP - cannot connect - 530 error

file zilla log:

Status:      Connecting to 50.62.160.59:21...
Status:      Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response:      220 Microsoft FTP Service
Command:      USER syndilouwho
Response:      331 Password required
Command:      PASS *********
Response:      530 User cannot log in.
Error:      Critical error
Error:      Could not connect to server

if the password is correct, what else could it be?

I think the web server is on a linux os.

Do you get this error with a specific client or with all clients ?

Also do you have access / control of the FTP server ?

If not I would suggest you raise a support ticket with the ftp host, it seems to possibly be a user/directory configuration issue on their side.

I have tried to access your ftp via web browser and error occur

ok my mistake i forgot to add in ftp://

now try to enter your username and password see it works?

1) make sure your username and password availaible and correct
2) make sure your account has access write to read/write on the server/folder
