How do you force people to use the https link to a Sharepoint Site?
For security reasons, I set up an SSL https binding for our users to connect to our Sharepoint Site.
How do I force them to use the https URL? Thanks

Set up a permanent redirect on the http site, that forwards to the https site.

Thanks. How do you set up a permanent redirect on an http site?
1. In internet services manager, right click on the file or folder you wish to redirect
2. Select the radio titled "a redirection to a URL".
3. Enter the redirection page
4. Check "The exact url entered above" and the "A permanent redirection for this resource"
5. Click on 'Apply'

Cookies missing? Did you put the correct link into the redirect?
ASKER
How would I know which cookies could be missing? The link is correct.
ASKER
There is a cookie with the site I have typed in without the www.
Just unbind port 80 from the site bindings.
If you do the redirect as stated above, its going to keep redirecting to itself, which is why FF says its redirecting in a way that will never complete...

Unbind port 80 after redirecting or just unbind port 80?
I tried both and got the same error message.
