Bear with me, this is weird.....
I have three remote Windows 2003 servers, all running Real VNC 4.1.2. I have three workstations here, one Vista Ultimate, one Vista Home Premium, one XP Pro. I can connect to two of the servers fine, the third disconnects me with a "connection aborted (10053)" error message within a couple of seconds when using Vista. All VNC server settings are exactly the same. All three locations use a Linksys router configured similarly. All three machines here are on the same internet connection, using the same real world IP addresses. Here is a breakdown of what happens:
Vista Ult -> Server1 = OK
Vista Ult -> Server2 = OK
Vista Ult -> Server3 = Disconnects
Vista HP -> Server1 = OK
Vista HP -> Server2 = OK
Vista HP -> Server3 = Disconnects
XP Pro -> Server1 = OK
XP Pro -> Server2 = OK
XP Pro -> Server3 = OK
Vista Ult -> Server1 -> Server3 = OK
Any ideas?
