question about getting on to others pc without their knowledge

Hi experts, I think that there are people watching on my desktop while I am working. I think I can not find out when the get on to my harddrives but I want to know if I can find out they are watching on my desktop with programs such as vnc etc and how I can prevent this. I can not remove the program because it has been installed by the company but I want to be able to proof that it happens because being on somebody else system without their knowledge is illegal. The admin folks can get on my drives by mapping to my drives. But they can also look onto my desktop I think. And I want to know if they are.
