can you give me a step by step... i am very new at working with networks... thanks
Go to your router or firewall and forward port 443 (HTTPS - required for login to OWA) to the IP address of your Exchange Server.
Then on your Web server put a link on the website to point to the exchange webfolder on the Exchange server, eg
http://(Exchange Server IP Address)/exchange
When someone hits your website from outside, they will click the OWA link (given above) and be asked for their domain username and password to enter their OWA account.

Is the link suppose to be
https://(Exchange Server IP)/exchange
or
http://(Exchange Server IP)/exchange
https://(Exchange Server IP)/exchange
or
http://(Exchange Server IP)/exchange
If you still cannot do anything, check out if you are using URLscan or if you ran the IIS Lockdown wizard. these things cause alot of problems on OWA.
