Cisco ASA interface issues with VPN

I have the attached config.  With this config:
I can ping the outside interface from the internet.
I can telnet and ssh to it.
I cannot RDP through it to machines on the internal network.
The site to site VPN tunnel comes up.
I cannot ping or rdp to devices on the internal network from the other side of the tunnel.
I can remote VPN into it with the Cisco client.

When I change the following:
remove:
access-group outbound_icmp in interface outside
add:
access-group allowed_in in interface outside
I can ping the outside interface.
I can not RDP through it.
The site to site VPN tunnel comes up.
I CAN ping or rdp to devices on the internal network from the other side of the tunnel.
I can remote VPN into it with the Cisco client.

When I then change the following:
Change ACL from:
access-list outside_cryptomap_dyn extended permit ip any 10.50.45.0 255.255.255.0
to:
access-list outside_cryptomap_dyn extended permit ip any any
access-list outside_cryptomap_dyn extended permit icmp any any
access-list outside_cryptomap_dyn extended permit ip any 10.50.45.0 255.255.255.0

I CANNOT ping the outside interface.
I can not RDP through it.
The site to site VPN tunnel comes up.
I can ping or rdp to devices on the internal network from the other side of the tunnel.
I CANNOT remote VPN into it with the Cisco client.

I do not understand the problems here. It's like I am so very close but I can't do everything I need to do.
When I added the two "permit ip any any and permit icmp any any" statements
(I realize that this is leaving it too open but I am just doing that for debugging)
I expected it to open up and let basically everything flow.  But it doesn't.

What I need to happen is:
Be able to ping the outside interface from the internet.
Telnet and ssh to it.
RDP through it to machines on the internal network.
The Site to site VPN tunnel be up.
Ping or rdp to devices on the internal network from the other side of the tunnel.
Remote VPN into it with the Cisco client.
RDP, http, icmp, smtp, etc from the internal network out.

Hopefully someone can explain this to me and show me what I am doing wrong.
Thanks for your help!

I have a similar situation in that I have a site-to-site VPN tunnel and also have remote users using the Cisco client to access our network. After looking at your config and comparing it to mine I have the following recommendations/noticed differences:

1. My access-list that is used for the match address line in the crypto map for the site-to-site specifies the local internal network and the destination remote network instead of using the "any" keyword. Example:

access-list outside_cryptomap extended permit ip any 10.5.4.0 255.255.255.0
would be
access-list outside_cryptomap extended permit ip  10.5.4.0 255.255.255.0 <remote network and netmask>

You would add the reverse of this on the remote network side.

2. For the dynamic crypto map I don't use a match address line at all.

3. For the RDP through the firewall (without VPN) I would add static NAT entries for the destination machines and then add specifc access-list entries to the access-list that is applied to the outside interface for the RDP ports and a destination of the external NAT address of the device.

Let me know if you need more information.
