Watchguard Firebox Static NAT Problem

Asked by ty_young_99 in Network Security, Network Software Firewalls

We have recently purchased a new Exchange server, to replace our dead MailEnable unit.  Now we are unable to send to several email destinations and have discovered that it is due to a Reverse DNS Lookup issue.  Apparently all of our outbound mail is Dynamically NATted to the external address of our firewall,  which works for some destinations but not others. Inbound seems to work fine.  Does anyone out there know the exact procedure for setting up a Watchguard Firebox 1000 to statically NAT all traffic from my mail host inside (trusted) 192.168.7.1 to the outside address (external) 10.10.10.30, while leaving my dynamic NAT 192.168.7.0-external alone?  Thanks for all your help!Start Free Trial
