How do I find out what's stopping me from accessing an application on my VPN?

Two weeks ago I was able to get into my VPN from home for work and use all the applications as though I was at work.  This week, I can get into the VPN but not into one of the applications.  I have tested my laptop at other wireless networks, like the public library and been able to get into it there but just not at home.  My Windows firewall is not activated on my laptop.  My VPN is through Cisco and the application I can't get into is called Elite Enterprise.  We hardwired the connection from the modem into the laptop, bypassing the router.

I spent hours on the phone with Brighthouse Networks and my IT people, at the same time, only to be told by brightouse/roadrunner ppl that they do not support VPN and I might want to change my modem, which I did with no avail.  They claim they are not blocking anything.  My IT ppl say that if I can use it everywhere else and not at home, it has to do with my ISP blocking something.

Any advice on what I should/can do?  I do not want to switch to another provider.  I have the option of AT&T Uverse but don't know anything about it.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much.Start Free Trial
