I did reaad that but how can I specify the incomming port number?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI recently purchased a Watchguard x10e to replace my D-Link DI-604. In my D-Link I had a number of ports forwarded internally such as:
public_ip:8080 -> private_id:80
public_ip:1041 -> private_id:9843
etc.
The 1st example defines traffic comming in on port 8080 on the public IP would be forwarded to a private IP on port 80
I'm trying to replicate this in my x10e but having a hard time. The custom policy allows me to specify a "Port Redirect" but I cannot seem to select the source port.
Thanks

Looks like it's working. I figured I'd post my resolution for anyone to use.
Went to
Firewall - Incoming - Custom Packet Filter Policies
Added Incoming Policy
[Incoming tab]
Incoming Filter: Allow
Policy Host: 192.168.1.31 <my local ip>
Port redirect: 9843
From: Any
[Properties tab]
TCP Port 1041
This seems to take incoming traffic on the public IP on port 1041 and forwards it to local IP 192.168.1.31 on port 9843.
Unless I misunderstood something, I've achieved my goal. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

You can also use the Wizard which specifically asks for the incoming port and redirect info:
