Riverbed interfaces as unknown
For some reason, we are not seeing any traffic being optimized on our riverbed. The inpath interfaces are showing as UNKNOWN on both the lan0_0 and wan0_0 interfaces and no negotiated, even though all ends are set as auto/auto. I even tried setting the interfaces as duplex full and that didn't work.
Here is what the interfaces are shown as:
Interface wan0_0 state
Up: yes
Interface type: ethernet
Speed: UNKNOWN
Duplex: UNKNOWN
MTU: 1500
HW address: 00:0E:B6:28:A7:C5
Link: no
Interface lan0_0 state
Up: yes
Interface type: ethernet
Speed: UNKNOWN
Duplex: UNKNOWN
MTU: 1500
HW address: 00:0E:B6:28:A7:C4
Link: no
RX bytes: 0
RX packets: 0
RX mcast packets: 0
RX discards: 0
RX errors: 0
RX overruns: 0
RX frame: 0
TX bytes: 0
TX packets: 0
TX discards: 0
TX errors: 0
TX overruns: 0
TX carrier: 0
TX collisions: 0
Does anyknow know why the interfaces are down and no traffic is being optimized?
thanks,
LN

Is Link State Propagation enabled ? - Try disabling, just as a troubleshooting measure - to see if one of the Steelhead ports come up.

There is an issue with the Riverbed appliance and we are using a different one.
