Zaptel Keeps needing restart

Hi all,

I am using 3 Analog Phone Lines to connect connected to a OpenVox A1200P Board
The module configurations are 3 x FXOs (For the 3 Analog lines) 5 x FXSs (For the Physical Phone extensions connected to the 3 Analog lines).

The reason why i am using this system primarily for phone recordings. I am  somewhat familiar with the configuration files and commands pertaining to asterisk.

The PBX system runs on  Asterisk 1.4.19, FreePBX as the web interface as well as zaptel to work with the card.

I have this really annoying and persistent issue in which it works fine for a couple of hours and calls before the switching starts to go hay-wire.

For e.g. A call comes in on Zap/1-1 and it should ring on extensions Zap/4-1 and Zap/5-1.

However after a couple of hours this process completely fails and instead it routes it different extensions for i.e. Zap/1-1 routes to Zap/6-1.

This happens also when a call is made out. The switching from the physical phone extensions goes from Zap/4-1 to Zap/2-1 instead of Zap/1-1.

Another symptom that arises too is that should people try to call into the line at Zap/1-1 it just indicate that the line is busy when it clear isn't.

The only way i can resolve this is through restarting zaptel.

Is there anything i should specifically be looking at to resolve this persistent issue?
Or am i looking at potential hardware failure on the card?
I would need a bit of hand-holding here.

Thanks!
