How to open and forward ports on a Nortel BCM50e

Guys I'm trying to forward several ports on a Nortel BCM50e, but even after I did the Firewall changes on the WAN to LAN interface hasn't been to forward the ports properly. I'm not very familiar with such specialized Kind of router device, therefore I'm inclined that I'm missing something or did not change something. I did some research over Nortel's site and manuals but could not find a guide to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
