When I hit the message button or dial the vm pilot number I get the normal response, "enter your PIN....". But when I call the VM pilot number from an outside line I get "From a touchtone telephone you can dial en extension at any time.....". Essentially I'm getting the main system greeting instead of the prompts to enter my mailbox and PIN. How can I correct this so when I dial in to the VM system I can check messages?

Ok that is Normal
here is an example
When you press the VM button from the handset your CLI is e.g. 200 and the VM mailbox is 200 so the VM server responds please enter the pin number because you VM server knows where the incoming call is coming from. Now when you call the external number e.g 01993777791 CLI 01993777791 your VM server does not recongnize the VM mail box so it will ask you for the extention number that you would like to access. then you type 200 and then the pin number.
I hope that helps
