I also used the Altigen System.

I am looking for the best router / firewall combination which provides a reliable, secure site-to-site VPN over DSL and supports QoS features for the VPN traffic carrying VoIP packets.
Specific Situation:
4 Sites - Max 8 Users at each site
SDSL 512k Up / 512k Down at each site (except main site - ADSL 768k Up / 1536k Down)
Altigen VoIP Phone System (Main server at main site, rest of sites just have phone sets - no gateways)
VoIP Codec - G723.1 (6.4k bandwidth)
Mostly VoIP, Windows domain traffic and file traffic over WAN
Currently am using Cisco 837's for Site-To-Site VPN for WAN
I would appreciate any significant suggestions on this subject as I am racking my brain to provide VoIP phone service which doesn't have delays or voice quality issues. Please help!

If routing traffic over the internet you can't get any guaranteed QoS as the internet is not controlled by one single entity. But for best results, you should:
1. Get all SDSL lines (more reliable and generally lower latency than ADSL)
2. Get all DSL lines from the same carrier (so you will have minimal hops from one office to the next)
3. Set up QoS on the Firewalls which will help manage traffic.

Get a Netscreen Firewall. They are relatively inexpensive and you have total control over the traffic shaping. I used it when I had video conferencing going on, it had priority and everything else took a back seat, VoIP, internet browsing etc. When the video conferencing was done everything went back to normal. You can pick the 5 user model up on ebay for about $200.00
