PC 2 PHONE ON CABLE INTERNET CONNECTION

I have cable internet connection and I'm trying to call but no pc2phone is working even net2phone, phone serve and other pc2phone provide is not accepting please provide solution in this regard.

Hey ahmedkhan_i,

1. Have you tried skype (http://www.skype.com/) as it usually can handle most firewalls and network settigs?
2. What kind of error message, if any, do you get?
3. What do you mean by 'not accepting'?

This is probably due to your ISP has blocked all availible PC 2 Phone on the Internet.
You need to try and use proxy in order to successfully make a call.

Can you go to any of the sites?
Which country are you living in right now?

some countries/ISPs block the h323 ports... so you may even see the sites but you still could not use the pc2phone softwares as the ports are blocked...

Try Teleo (http://www.teleo.com), I have tested it behind a number of firewalls on different providers with no problems.

Hi,
SOme cable company or mostly to try to use MAC filter. In case you can use only one PC. You need a router  and clone the MAC address.
